language parallax

Hello, loyal readers.  The site has been away for a while, but it’s back and better than ever.  Well, not really.  Kinda.  It’s being hosted on a dedicated colocated server now.  Hopefully the uptime will be decent.

For the moment, I’m not going to grab any of the old content.  Except eventually the pictures.  Better to have a fresh new start.  I imagine there will be generally less posts on politics in the future — the country seems to have snapped out of its deep, passive sleep, and though there are still a lot of disappointing things going on, I have a lot less personal anxiety about them.

I have started a new job with a friend’s company implementing tools similar to those that I developed at Excite and NOCpulse.  It will be nice to be making real money for a while.

Though I am not giving up on my research ideas.  A prospectus is in the making.  The phrase “language oriented programming” is one I’m sticking with.  There are a few others… I’m sure I’ll be posting soon to organize my thoughts in that regard.
